Sneddon said Jackson's passport, confiscated after his arrest last month, will be returned to him for the trip. He will be required to surrender it when he returns to the States.

Why the heck did they take his passport in the first place if they're just going to give it back to him when he asks?

they are probably giving him the passport so he doesnt come back...bet all his bank accounts are frozen but he has some big wad of cash stashed overseas...
