I remember listening to Michael Medved's radio program one day and hearing a caller tell a story that just appalled me.

He said that his toddler had learned to say and had taken to shouting out randomly, "George Bush is a good man and he's going to be president!"

The family was at a Starbucks in our area, when the child shouted the phrase out in the trendy coffeeshop.

Their table was approached by (I believe, IIRC) two liberal women, who crouched to the child's level and asked him who told him that. He replied that his father had. These two [blanks] proceeded to tell the child that they were sure his father was a nice guy and all that, but that he was wrong about George Bush.

The GALL. I still feel a bump in my blood pressure when I recall that story.

I was once asked if I actually had a gun at home by a clueless yuppie at work (when he found out I was a hunter).

I told him "shucks, I don't have A gun at home. I have enough guns at home to overthrow your average small Central American country...
