This may be posted, but I came across it looking into info on Alan Jackson's "Let It Be Christmas" special airing on Country Music Television (Hope this hasn't been posted, wanted to share this, hope it's alright...).
I'm not a hugh Country Music fan, but the spirit of pride in America, patriotism and God runs in the theme of many of these musicians
(Dixie Chicks are 1) not country and 2) not musicians)
Also, might check out Alan Jackson's special on CMT. It aired tonight and airs twice on Dec 24. Real nice, he sings traditional Christmas songs with heart and respect, the way they were meant to be. I was impressed. he ended the show with one he wrote (he talks during interviews between songs) which you can view here
Both these videos are on Windows Media Player; www.CMT.com has the option to view them in RealPlayer, too.
Well, while we're at it, here is Billy Ray Cyrus' "Some Gave All" (opens in RealPlayer). There is also a thread about his special tribute to veterans from his TV show "Doc: Some Gave All" on FR. Worth the watching, IMO.

"We'll put a boot in your ass. It's the American way!"
Sums things up quite nicely. BTW,I noticed we haven't heard a peep out of that sawed-off little whack job in North Korea lately.

There is another song on his Unleashed Album (the one with Courtesy of the Red White and Blue) called Beer for My Horses that the guys over in Iraq seem to really love. When you listen to the words it sounds like Toby wrote it for Iraq even though the album came out long before we even thought about Iraq. It's terrific

Well, the one I now had a problem with was Alan Jackson "Let it be Christmas", but either click or copy/paste
this URL and see if that works (RealPlayer)

I'll get it and post the link; I saw it on the CMT site....brb...

Apparently I must have missed a few upgrades because the WMP I was trying to use to open the file was 6.4 and the latest is up to 9.0.
After downloading the latest version of WMP, it worked fine.
Thanks!

Glad it worked. I have to play .rm files in Real, and also have quicktime on my pc. Haven't had a bit of trouble with them on my PC, not like a few years ago, where they'd always crash my system :(
works good now tho :)

Beer For My Horses (windows media player)
Thanks for posting that one!
I can't wait for some enterprising patriot (and bender of copyright) to make a
video montage of the Iraq theater including shots of some of our men capturing Saddam.
Of course, that would be violation of the Geneva Convention, holding a prisoner
up as a public curiosity...
but let those weasels in Geneva just try and do somethin' about it.
