Everyone still expects "Christ" to come down on a cloud for all to see, and at the same time holding to (or forgeting of) his own statements that he would come like a "theif in the night".

Since I detect some ridicule in your post AND since the Bible discusses BOTH of the events you mention, perhaps you'd like to explain THEM to us...

I read it as if he was saying it was the just the "thief in the night" as a coming and not the other ... as a premillennialist I subscribe to two separate events ... Revelation 1:7 and these don't seem like a "thief" at all, hence my belief in two separate events ... (not to get off topic) ...
