My first PC was a vic-20 8k memory with 16k upgrade memory.
b/w TV for monitor, cassette for storage, 300 baud modem.
over $3,000 invested.

I can remember in High School when my father bought a brand new 386 with a Sound Blaster Pro.
I thought I was the coolest kid in school when I played Police Quest on that baby.
