I think the ACLU is made up of atheists more than any other type Admittedly I live in an area that has little ethnic representation, so I've interacted with relatively few people of Jewish ethnicity. This is more of a question than a comment. Of the Jewish people I've met, I'd say they've been mostly secular and largely agnostic. I've been welcomed to some traditional Jewish religious observances, but was surprised at the extent to which the observances were often said to be about respect for tradition moreso than a recognition of faith. How representative is that of Jewish Americans in general?

You are very correct, many Jews are secular they are more traditional than truly having a personal relationship with G-d, and I am not saying all of them, because I have close friends that have a persoanl relationship with G-d through Jesus Christ.
Just shows you how secular this world is.
