I used to work with some pathetic person that I always ended up feeling sorry for and that person always turned around and used that kindness to stab me in the back. I'm sure Saddam will do the same when given the chance. He will make the USA seems like the criminal, the torturer, the guilty, the horrendous mass murderer that he himself really is. You just watch. And I for one will take satisfaction is the fact that I never felt any compassion, pity, or guilt for this man's situation.

I am not saying he does not deserve all punishment available. Including rape, torture, ultimately death. But there is something about compassion that is in you, whether you like it or not. You can override it with logic, which I have. But it doesn't stop it from being there. That is why I said the "woman" in me, because I think women and men are different in that respect. Usually anyway.
