My favorite liberal at work is hand wringing that it really isn't Sadaam - it's one of his doubles.

Then 'Mad' Albright wondered if Bush was also hiding Bin Laden for an October surprise.

It never ceases to amaze how on one hand we have a bumbling administration that can't do a thing right and on the other is carefully orchastrating the demise of the Democratic party through conspiracy and deception.

OK...if we're talking conspiracies - how is it that all liberals speak with the same tongue? How is it that the French keep sneaking into every sentence from every liberal spanning the NY Times complete through my favorite liberal at work? Could this conspiracy have started with Bush's high poll numbers? If we didn't have an election coming - would the liberals be talking sense?

Ughh

[God] comforts us in all our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble. —2 Corinthians 1:4

The comfort God has given us
He wants us now to share
With others who are suffering
And caught in life's despair. Sper

God does not comfort us to make us comfortable, but to make us comforters.

They Understood

Read: 2 Corinthians 1:3-11

[God] comforts us in all our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble. —2 Corinthians 1:4

Bible In One Year: James 1-2

A few days before Christmas, we received a beautiful floral arrangement with a card that said, "Remembering your loss and wishing you and your family a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year. Love and prayers, Dave and Betty."

Seven months earlier, my sister Marti and her husband Jim had been killed in a traffic accident. This was our first Christmas without them, so it was a great encouragement to have friends acknowledge our loss and express their love in a tangible way.

Dave and Betty understood our need to grieve and find God's healing because two decades earlier their daughter had taken her own life. They had experienced the Lord's comfort over the years, so they were able to come alongside us in a sensitive and caring way.

That loving act came as a striking example of Paul's words: "The Father of mercies and God of all comfort . . . comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God" (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

When God touches our broken hearts with His peace, we are uniquely equipped to share that with others. What a wonderful gift to give and receive at Christmas! —David McCasland

The comfort God has given us
He wants us now to share
With others who are suffering
And caught in life's despair. —Sper

God does not comfort us to make us comfortable, but to make us comforters.

*standing ovation* Bravo! Bravo! Good show I say!! No column or layout shall be published before its time--well its time has come! Aqua and John you have knocked it out of the ballpark again. I can't offer you wine and cheese as it's all been returned to France via the curb. We'll celebrate instead with some Texas originals: Pangburg's Millionaires and RC Cola.

Today, one whole day later, the joy has given way to overwhelming resentment on the part of an overwhelming 3 people in Baghdad -- a stationary store owner, a dentist and a building contractor, all interviewed in this blockbuster report.

Weren't these three "randomly" interviewed by the New York Times man-on-the-street team a few months ago during the zenith that was HRC's book tour?

It is, but you see that old guy sitting 5 rows back, sandwiched between those two chicks on the left? He's not applauding. Probably a spy. Call the usher.

LOL! Some of these gifs are just a little too realistic. :)
