I need more information. Is he leaving to work on something else, or because he isn't doing a good job, or because he will be working here while loose ends are tied up?

Lets hope it is the fact that he has uncovered so much that he just wanted to get home and let others take care of the actual listing of what they have found.
I mean you'd have to figure if he said to Bush "haven't found a thing" that Bush would say "well keep digging.
Faith, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.
