Not to re-start an argument, because I respect your position, but my husband just reminded me that the Bishop who made his shameful remarks yesterday is the VATICAN SPOKESMAN.
As a result, it does not seem beyond the pale to condemn the entire Vatican for not condemning those remarks.

I can't remember the name of the official spokesman for the Vatican.He's a Spanish layman.This Cardinal is NOT THE SPOKESMAN FOR THE VATICAN! He's head of the Vatican's Peace and Social Justice Office.

Im catholic. Im really discouraged by the negative language and views speaking from the Vatican now and in the past. It has made me very cynical of them. I have such disappointment. I agree with you. As a Christian, I find it shameful as well.
