There were two women who took potshots at Gerald Ford, Squeaky Fromme and Sara Jane Moore. To the best of my knowledge, both of them are still in prison.

Judge Friedman is a Reagan hater who was a Clinton appointee who was also an Iran-Contra Associate Independent Counsel for the Democrats. Doesn't surprise anyone that he would smpathize with Reagan's would-be assasin. Typical liberal scumbag.

If in fact he was truly suffering from a mental illness when he shot the President, and if in fact he has been largely treated, then good for him if he gets unsupervised vists. Those are mighty big ifs...

I do believe Hinkly while stable is still very paranoid and his doctors said so. He is not cured. Not so long ago he was stalking a nurse at the hospital. Look at his face, he is a mean, irritable guy and I wouldn't be surprised if he went whacko again. I do hope this doesn't break up Bill and Jody, they are so adorable together.

Judge Paul L. Friedman was an assistant to Lawrence Walsh in Iran-contra investigation. He was appointed to the bench by President Bill Clinton.Figures, eh?

That's bull. You shoot at a president, you get locked up forever--if the Secret Service didn't get you to start with. The message now is: Even if you kill the president, you can one day get out.

I say its time for GWB to commute Sirhan's sentence, and put him on a plane for Hyannisport,Mass. Tell the libs we're just emulating their "compassion".
This is a worldwide
f*#@&*ing embarrassment.

Anyone with a mental illness can have a relapse of that illness mo matter how well he is doing in treatment (with the possible exception of a curable organic cause). Anyone that has a mental illness that results in the use of lethal violence should never be allowed to be unsupervised since any relapse will likely cost someone their life. This isn't a case of someone simply being non functional and unable to care for themeslves properly or fit into society in a manner that people find at least marginally acceptable.

From what I was able to gather from google search, both Squeaky Fromme and Sara Jane Moore were sentenced to life. Both escaped from prison (and caught, of course). Neither one has been granted parole.

If you're sick when you commit the crime, you get treatment until you're well (if ever). Once you get well, THEN you can start prison time (minus whatever time was spent getting well enough to go to prison). In other words, once you're well, you go to the big house, NOT GO ON UNSUPERVISED FIELD TRIPS TO MOMMY'S HOUSE!

Since the judge is a liberal demoncrat Clinton appointee, Ms. Brady is going to tow the party line.

I hope the Secret Service keeps a very close eye on this man. I think it is dumb, dumb, DUMB to let him out like this.
