I mean… the abolition of slavery comes from Western democracy. True Democracy comes form our Greco-Judeo-Christian-Western experience. If we lose these things, then this is a catastrophe for the world.

I saw his interview on the extended DVD and thought he was a jerk. He certainly came off as being opinionated and pompous... but some of my favorite people have those qualities in spades. Probably I also have them myself, truth to tell.
