So adoption agencies discriminate against those with disabilities (e.g. blind, mentally ill, under or over a certain age, not married long enough, not enough bedrooms in the house, etc.)
Indeed, there are restrictions on the race of the child, the age of the child.
And a girl who knows her child might be placed with such a family without her knowledge might just decide to say no to such an adoption agency and keep the kid, or worse, abort it...And, of course, if this is about "open" adoptions where mom chooses the couple, then you have another reality: Most girls who put their kids up for adoption are christian girls who would not choose such a couple.

Many fail to distinguish between the two. Same with respect and fear. Very different, but often associated out of ignorance. "Victims" today feel everything is a right and not subject to merit of any type.
