Canada doesn't deserve slice of Iraq reconstruction pie

An interesting read. I think a few more Canadians should be listening more to Bob Macdonald, than the Liberals up there. Common sense is a dangerous thing in, the right hands. What little financial benefit there will be out of Iraq, SHOULD go to those that risked the lives of their soldiers. To do it any other way would be an insult to every person serving in Iraq, and to those who paid the ultimate price.
One other comment......The thing that bothers me most is, there WAS a slim chance that all of this could have ended without a single bullet being fired. Unfortunately, countries like France, Russia, Germany, and Canada would not hold accountable, the regime of Hussein. I believe that had the world provided a united front against this tyrant, he would have had little choice, but to cooperate. Without the support of these major "allies", he saw division, and thought he could exploit it. Therefore, the decisions made by these countries to NOT do their duties, cemented the inevitability of conflict. Their inactions made happen what they didn't want to happen. Irony's a b*tch.....
