This kind of event just reveals the Left's true 'colors,' pun intended. Only a racist can legitimately argue in favor of affirmative action. Without the precept of racism -- the presupposition that people should be judged on their race rather than their individual merits -- affirmative action makes no sense. Affirmative action is founded on the presupposition that people should be judged based on the color of their skin.

Of course, Affirmative Action, once in place, demands that those minorities who benefitted from it should bow down to the the real 'Massa' -- the enabling Left. Should a black leader dissent from the party line, they are ridiculed for being 'white' rather than an independent-thinking person. This is the kind of logic that leads the Rats to ridicule Clarence Thomas and Condi Rice for their views. By the logic of the left, Thomas and Rice should be forever enslaved by the Left for their handouts. This is simply ideological slavery.
