Not an idiot at all, I fear - just your typical leftwingnut journalist, who desperately wants to make the USA look bad by doing what they can to discourage ordinary Iraqis from cooperating with the CPA and the military.

And if that involves the death of a brave young man, so be be it.

Sudarsan Raghavan, the Africa correspondent, joined the bureau staff after three years as a general assignment and courts reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer. Prior to that, he was based in Johannesburg, covering Africa for several news organizations, including Newsweek, the Los Angeles Times, the Sunday Times of London and the Wall Street Journal.
