Research determined that no existing cartridge case would meet the specifications, so a completely new, straight-walled .50-cal. case, measuring 1.625 in. in length

The 500 Linebaugh maximum round did just that. There was also the 510 GNR round that was out there as well.

This is one of those dreaded .50 caliber sniper pistols capable of shooting down a nuclear aircraft carrier with a single shot. Terrorists use these I've seen them. Everywhere you go in Iraq people are firing them into the air whenever a light changes. Gang members are taking out second mortgages to buy them in bulk. If we don't' do something soon every living room in the country will be like the wild west.

It's clearly not a gun for "appropriate" uses like ... um.... ahhh... umm...... hunting... yeah ... hunting... it's not a gun for hunting or ... um ... any other appropriate uses.... It's obviously a killing machine.

There is so much smoke from each shot that just one of these causes global warming.

It's clearly designed for shooting children and puppies.

My cousin knows someone, who knows someone who shot one once, and the recoil alone was so strong that it made his arm fly right off his body.

Allowing civilians to posses these is threatening our lives as we know them. Someone call Nancy Pelosi.... "Nancy.... we need a regulation quick!!!!!!"
