Diller Blocks Gore's Leftist Network
Newsmax ^ | 12/16/03

In his most humiliating setback since his failed coup attempt of 2000, Al Gore is seeing his dreams of creating yet another left-wing media outlet fall like chads from the hands of a ballot-twisting Florida Democrat recount activist.

Thank Barry Diller, who despite Gore's begging is refusing to lift his veto over the sale of the News World International cable network from Vivendi Universal Entertainment, the New York Post reported today.

Apparently the Democrats will have to be satisfied with NPR, PBS, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN ...

Diller isn't 'blocking' anything. He's just not selling, that's all, nothing more.

I have no doubt that this will be called censorship. As opposed to making it a felony to criticize officeholders before an election, which is not censorship.

I have this recurring dream that has Gore being captured, prodded and de-liced by our troops.

"Apparently the Democrats will have to be satisfied with NPR, PBS, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN ..." More than enough, it seems to me.

A special thank-you to Barry Diller as well!

NWI is television, not radio.

And, it's a very good news channel btw.

Damn! And just when it looked like the Saddam Hussein look-a-likes were going to be able to get jobs as news anchors.

What is so funny is that in 'Barry Dillers Billionaire World', Al Gore is merely a peasant, and I'm surprised to read the fact that he even took time to meet w/ him. I also think it's funny that Al Gore actually thought he could get Barry to change his mind. Listen up Al, or haven't you heard? "You Have No Power To Exert Anymore"! LOL

I'm not sure Diller is doing us any favors. Let the RATs have their channel. Who is going to watch it? They will pour so much money into that RAThole that they'll be hard-pressed to pay for airtime on the other networks. All their crap will be on one easy-to-ignore location. Thanks for the v-chip, AlGore!

Maybe, "He's just not buying it," is closer.

>>>Barry Diller Is Not A Moron <<<

What ever Diller is doing with this sale, it has nothing to do with his politics. He's a huge leftist liberal.

Good? Are you a masochist? Or maybe you can't get enough of what the Eurowheenies think about everything or what is happening north of our border.

So he is. No argument. But there is nothing whatever to say that, regarding his own commercial interests, even the slimiest leftist (Diller fits my bill on this, btw) doesn't know a **stone** loser when he sees one, true?

Name me a larger loser, financially, than a ''Gork'' network, and I'll kiss your butt at Times Square any day you name.

Diller is merely protecting his investment, the right of veto that he got from the froggies.
