I see you've posted more poetry and I love those too. :) Things are slow here at the moment so maybe I'll try my hand at one.

Wolfstar, you've done a really good thing bringing FReepers together in solidarity with our troops, to show our love, support and appreciation. I feel like we're an electronic version of Texas A&M's 12th Man with our spirit, strength and hope standing shoulder to shoulder on the battle lines with our men and women as though we were one soldier.

Re your post #174. Living as I do in the greater Los Angeles area, I'm geographically on the other side of the world from the Middle East. I'm middle-aged, so I can't re-join the Navy. And I don't have a loved one in the service. So this is the least I can do to show my support. If some of what's on this thread filters back to even a handful of our men and women in uniform, that's what it's all about.
