After all, if I boycotted all the liberal actors, comedians, and musicians, I would never be able to attend any movies or buy any music.

I agree. They are 'muses' performing for our amusement, and nothing more. I don't solicit their negligable talents in the field of political commentary or ideological analysis. My reaction to their statements is "He/She said what?... so why should I care?" Admittedly it does cause me to re-evaluate my judgment of that person's perceived character and sometimes I simply don't wish to see their work any longer, as in the case of sarandon. Its too bad, I would have liked to have watched The Children of Dune. The first was done so well. Cusack, Penn, Ford, Depp and even Vigo M. all posess tremendous talents regardless of their judgemental shortcomings. Cusack is my contemporary, so I will cut him even more slack in the hope that age and wisdom may in time do for him what it did for me... enable a reflection on the logical contradictions and make necessary corrections.

moore should simply lay off the donuts as cannibalism is immoral. He's less than joke... which is often funny.

There is a great line from Atlas Shrugged that I always recall when I hear another muse attempt to elevate their meager significance to sophist politicus. (Mr. Willers, you may appreciate this)"

It is not advisable... to venture unsolicited opinions. You should spare yourself the embarrassing discovery of their exact value to your listener.(Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged, 1957)

As for this contest... I feel like someone is about to send me a free crate of ammunition. I'll be heading to the range soon and often.

Or Mark Twain (from memory): "Better to be silent and have people think you a fool, than open your mouth or remove all doubt."
