Want to buy a cookie? If you are a white male, that'll be $1; for white females, 75 cents; blacks, 25 cents. The price structure is the message.
Through Affirmative Action Bake Sales, conservative groups on campuses across America are satirically and peacefully spotlighting the injustice of AA programs that penalize or benefit students based solely on gender and race. The cookie rebels are being slammed by such a backlash that the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) -- dreaded by many university administrators -- just shot "an opening salvo" in the rebels' defense.

Those who were physically attacked and the attacker not arrested by Campus Police, makes the university vulnerable to a lawsuit. I think a good lawyer can win the case, because if a peaceful demonstration is attacked by someone who disagrees with it, the attacker is guilty of assault and the University does nothing, they can be sued for no acting. Imagine what the University would do if a pro-illegal immigration or pro abortion stand was attacked by outraged conservative students who felt their presence was offensive! I cannot believe that Conservatives can not find a lawyer who would make a ton of money on this.

You know that the same thing could be done with vitamins. Sell them at cost to all those over 65. If the buyer is under 65 then sell them at list and have a surcharge to to subsidize the sales to seniors. I like the idea.
To: Investment Biker
I like the idea. Sounds like "From each, according to his abilities. To each, according to his needs."
If memory serves me correctly, the practice doesn't work so well in the real world.
People under 65 stop buying the inflated vitamins in favor of more economically priced alternatives, leaving you with the choice of raising prices on additional goods in order to finance the new vitamin-subsidy/entitlement to the seniors.

That was my first thought....immediate federal lawsuit.

...People under 65 stop buying the inflated vitamins in favor of more economically priced alternatives...
Then we will have to outlaw that so that seniors may be served. Or maybe young people ask a senior to buy for them. Hmmm... that will need to be outlawed also. So many laws to write and so little time, oh the humanity...
To: Investment Biker
Don't worry about it, we'll just get a chosen few who we know can be trusted and have them write all the laws. Then everyone will be happy!

could "create a climate of hostility against students of color and women and can easily turn violent."Hmmm... sounds like a thinly veiled threat to me. Which is precisely the reason our College Republican club opted not to have our own AA Bake Sale.

"Our protests that the CRs were peacefully demonstrating while the leftists got violent fell upon deaf ears."
Leftists have no problem becoming violent. With just a little encouragement they will turn from pacifist to thug. I recommend that in the future, these cookie rebels bring a video camara to make sure everyone knows who is creating a dangerous climate. MDP

I keep wondering the same thing: why aren't they videotaping these attacks?
Perhaps they need someone to videotape the incidents discreetly? Might get some airplay on Fox news.

How much are cookies if you are blue?
To: BulletBobCo
Considering Cookie Monster's long association with the Left-wing icon, PBS, I'd assume he'd get the most favorable rate...
...unless they find a couple of white boys operating him, that is.

That's why I recommend at least two discreetly placed videographers to record the violence.
