Nah, I'm no more ashamed of the One True Church than I am ashamed of America when Howard Dean and the other eight mental midgets bash President Bush and give moral aid and support to Saddam and the terrorists.
Perhaps even less - for when U.S. Senators like Kerry and Lieberman speak out they are indeed speaking in a semi-official manner. But when an individual Cardinal speak his personal opinion of Saddam Hussein it only accomplishes what he hopes it will; namely, that the ignorant masses will think he speaks for the official Church. Which he does not.
