Yes .... that was fun but let's not do it again!
I'm tired after reading the intro and I still have a couple of gifts to buy and presents to wrap. Forget the cards ..... if they don't have an email address, they must wait until the first of February.
Thank you for this cute thread, Billie!

What a cute post about shopping and where did you find that funny woman? Thank you, Aqua. Can't tell you how long I looked for the right woman shopper! I actually had to color the woman in the original graphic (it was a black and white drawing), and then the last two 'tired' ones had to be redone from head to toe to match the original clothes and hair, etc. :) (paint and the clone tools do come in handy!)
Love the reindeer crossing (and Rudolph wave opened fine for me) :)
BTW, Dave has some cute stuff to go with your music thread next Tuesday - he'll email you about it. :)

Military town sees capture as unbelievable holiday gift
JACKSONVILLE - The capture of Saddam Hussein was the talk of this military town Sunday.
Troops and residents in barbershops, in Laundromats, at the USO and on motorcycles in Jacksonville expressed joy at the end of the eight-month search for the deposed Iraqi leader.
"I wish we could shoot our guns in the air like the Iraqis," said Daniel Sbrocco, a corpsman with the 2nd Medical Battalion in Camp Lejeune, who was shooting pool with fellow troops Sunday afternoon.
His unit served in Iraq.
Mary Arne spent part of Sunday morning reading at the library in the United Services Organizations building. Ms. Arne, who served as a nurse in the Korean War, said many Iraqis lived in fear of Mr. Hussein.
"I will see this as an early Christmas present," she said.
To some people, the capture was too good to be true, and they expressed disbelief after hearing the news, including Lance Cpl. Hector Torres, with HMLA 167 at New River Air Base. He said a friend known to play practical jokes on him phoned him Sunday morning to tell him the news. Lance Cpl. Torres said he thought it was a joke until he read the story on the Internet.
"I was like 'wow,' " said Lance Cpl. Torres, who helps run the USO.
As late as Sunday afternoon, some people still were not aware Mr. Hussein had been captured, including Margaret Morris, who was washing clothes at a Laundromat. When asked by a Star News reporter what she thought about the day's big headline, she responded, "Are you sure?"
"That's pretty good news," Ms. Morris added.
Shocking to many was that Mr. Hussein was caught alive and gave up without a fight.
Dick Price spent part of Sunday morning riding with the Christian Motorcyclists Association for a charity event. "I think he went out like a coward," said Mr. Price, a Vietnam veteran.
People had a variety of opinions on what should be done with Mr. Hussein, including some calls of "off with his head." But Eric Thompson, an active duty service member riding with the motorcycle group Sunday, said he thought it was important for Mr. Hussein to be treated fairly and receive "equal application of the law."
"May justice be done," Mr. Thompson said.
Officials at Camp Lejeune wouldn't comment on the capture. Lt. Daniel Allen, public affairs officer at the base, said they would have to wait on guidance from a higher command before speaking on the subject.
But Capt. Jim Becker, an official with the 1st Battalion, 120th Infantry of the N.C. National Guard based in Wilmington, said word of the capture sent a buzz through his troops, many of whom are training at Fort Stewart, Ga., to prepare for deployment to Iraq.
He said the capture of Mr. Hussein would have a positive effect on the U.S. operation in Iraq.
"This should take some wind out of the sails of his insurgents," Capt. Becker said.
Capt. Robert Carver with the N.C. National Guard office in Raleigh said he was unaware of any North Carolina reservists who took part in the capture.
