Reminds me of Biden going over to see Chirac recently to discuss better relations between the two countries. Where was the mainstream press coverage of this?

Can you imagine what the mainstream press would say if Republican congressmen were running all over the world having secret meetings with world leaders?

Since you bring up Biden, did you hear his quote from the weekend? He said he's glad about Saddam, and he says that he'd like to see us get more good news like this (like capturing Mullah Omar or OBL himself). And then Biden said, "If that brings about a huge re-election for George W. Bush, that's okay with me."

When was the last time a Democrat said something that statesmanlike? I seems to happen about once a decade.
