LA was lucky to have a candidate like Jindal. They haven't had the chance to elect a quality individual like that in a long time.
Yes he was a quality candidate, but he didn't win and that in the final analysis is the goal. Running second for what ever reason doesn't get the job done....
I've not seen any final analysis of the voting patterns in the governors race but some indications were that Jindal got only some 48% in the white rural vote. He needed to have about 60%+ to win statewide in La.

Oh, I was just ranting. I don't think Jindal should run again right now. Louisiana doesn't deserve him.
