Even though Chris John will be the incumbant Senator and a centrist Democrat, he can be beaten by Bobby Jindal.


Is Breaux stepping down or serving out his term? None of the articles say he's stepping down at this time....

What makes you think Jindal can win statewide? He just lost a statewide race just over a month ago.

What makes you think Jindal can win statewide? He just lost a statewide race just over a month ago.

I believe LA has elected senators twice recently that had justb come off a loss in the governor's race. I'm not saying Jindal should run, but he got nearly 50% in a statewide race a few weeks ago, it's not impossible to believe he could do it. Plus, Democrats in the South tend to be less party loyal in Senate races, then races for governor. I don't know if he's the best choice, but I think Jindal would make a great Senator.
