Regarding all but Sharpton they simply have no honor and the worst case of sour grapes ever for not mentioning that our Presidents policies have a LOT to do with us grabbing Saddam.

As for Al Sharpton? He just wnats to see the UN come in and install Socialism rather then give the people in Iraw there own voice on the matter. Just like they have everywhere else.

Oh, thats okay. You have to know that NONE of the candidates are sleeping well tonight. Howie Dean is up rewriting his "big foreign policy address" this very moment. Lots of white-out all over the "Where is Saddam" stuff. John Kerry is tossing and turning saying F$%#!, while his wife says "Not tonight". Gephardt is busy applying more Red dye #5 to his hair, and Wes Clark takes the stand against Milosevic in the morning.

Pretty much everyone contains the standard platitudes about supporting the troops, but each one is also a backhanded compliment.

Each candidate is a scummy weasel of the highest order.

Not one of them could summon up the class to congratulate President Bush along the military. IMHO that would have served them better with voters than desperately looking for somehting to carp about.

JOHN KERRY If we had done this with a sufficient number of troops, if we had done this in a globalized way, if we had brought more people to the table, we might have caught Saddam Hussein sooner. We might have had less loss of life. We would be in a stronger position today with respect to what we're doing.

Amazing, huh? He must have been using the F word all day long....

JOHN KERRY "Ifwe had done this with a sufficient number of troops, if we had done this in a globalized way, if we had brought more people to the table, we might have caught Saddam Hussein sooner"

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts we would all have a merry Christmas.

Duplicate thread running here (this one seems to have been first), though the other poster said they'd run a check. Anyway, I'll post here what I posted there.

Don'tcha just love it when a plan comes together!!

Problem is, I am very much afraid that if all of Bush's detractors continue to harp about turning Iraq over to the UN, that Bush might attempt to "triangulate" yet again.

We don't need the UN in the US and we sure as hell don't need the UN in Iraq. I just hope Bush does not yield on this issue the way he has done on education, CFR, and medicare.

Well to be fair Dean and Gephardt did say it was a "great day for the administration". But just wait until the trial of Saddam, when all of his horrible crimes are cataloged for the world to see. And not by the Administration, but by Iraqis. How is Dean going to defend his position then?

Good point - it DOES sound like that. Of course, they've been selling out this nation for decades, so I don't see it as anything new...
