I was amazed at his passionate support on Iraq..It wasn't in the cards.I thought his cozy relationship with Clinton also meant trouble.He may be a socialist EUer but I do thank him for being a friend when we needed it.
Idealism can be blinding and the EU is an idealistic venture.The Germans and the French aren't obeying their economic agreements.

I agree. From what I have seen, I like Blair as a person. I really think he sacrificed pol expedience to ensure Brit security. Unlike the socialist rats here. He is a cut above. Even when Clinton visited him behind the president's back, early on, he remained loyal and steadfast.
