Prior to MTP, NBC News had 2 reports on the July 2001 memo to Saddam, stating that Mohammed Atta had finished his training with Abu Nidal in Iraq. Former CIA chief Woolsey said that this was big news and should be closely watched in the coming days. And yet,when Dana Priest said that there was nothing linking Saddam to 9/11- Russert never reminded her of the 2 previous NBC News reports showing just that. Guess he must have been too busy trying to jiggle his lock box,to watch the monitor.
