I have had the same thought. By now, those leaders that are supporting terrorist must realize that President Bush is serious. They must also realize their old friends (in old Europe) are not going to be able to help them. Finally, they must also realize if and when President Bush goes on TV and tells them they have 48 hours to get out town, they better leave. President Bush is not bluffing.
Those nations that are providing the support that terrorist need to operate have their own reason for doing so. We are not going to convince them to like us, but at this point in time, they only need to be convinced that if they continue to provide support for terrorist, they will become a target for the United States military, and any idea that they would win in such a confrontation is vanishing.
This is not Viet Nam. This is not Somalia. The American Forces are there to do a job, and they will do it.
The world as we knew it changed on 9/11, and it is just taking some a little longer to realize it. The next few months should prove interesting
I think it is simply that they refuse to acknowledge that cold war strategies of "containment" will not work anymore. They realize what happened, they refuse to accept the consequences of what happened. The next few months should prove interesting
When we find out the extent to which the "world community" aided and abetted Saddam, the democrats (e.g. the new "World party of America") will look positively idiotic. Bye Bye Dean. Move on.org will have to change it's name to: moved on to France.org With the exception of Lieberman, the Dem's are now a party without a brain or soul.
