While we know Clinton never went this far in any pursuit, except that of political power, imagine what his speech on the capture would have looked like:

I am here to tell you that MY forces now have Saddam Hussein in custody.

It was hard work. I have never worked harder in my life to capture this man.

A lot of people now realize why I was elected to office. Just so I could do things like you are watching me say here on the TV.

While US forces did have a role in this capture, I am not ashamed to tell you that they were executing MY strategy.

This capture is good for Amerika, particularly women, chidren and minorities. But that's why you elelcted ME.
