Note to all democrat liars, spinners, malcontents and every day assholes.
"The capture of Saddam Hussein does not mean the end of viloence in Iraq..."
To: RobFromGa
Well, short and sweet.
But what was that background noise?
To: Peach
Not a bit of gloating, I'm sure Paula Zahn will be glad that President Bush took her advice to heart and changed his speech. /sarcasm

CBS lost the feed briefly, then when they got it back the audio was blurred. Switched to NBC. Wish I had FNC!!

Gald he said it will not be the end of violence, so they can't say later that he lied again!

Best one yet!! - Next best one will be his re-election speech!!

Leaving the door open to go after those sending in insurgents? Hmmm. Me thinks so.
Here's hoping we get to knock out Syria and Iran.
To: RobFromGa; PhiKapMom
Yet another great speech from our President.

PERFECT. period. Yup. Just perfect.

"The Winning Side"
a good phrase from Dubya's announcement...
Too bad he didn't do one compare-contrast like this:
"Saddam promised that he wouldn't be taken alive, he broke his promise.
Our Coalition promised to, if possible, capture Saddam alive; we have kept our promise.
We have also promised to build a better, peaceful Iraq. It will take longer,
but we keep our promises."

Did he say "I" or "me" even once in that speech?

Dubya looked like he could hardly contain his joy!

The capture of Saddam Hussein does not mean an end of violence in Iraq. (That should satisfy CNN) Heheheh. They won't be satisfied. But, so what? They have their own self-imposed angry and bitter burden to bear. I hope and pray they get over it, but the matter is truly beyond my control.
Bush did great, as usual. Wonderful, defining moment. And the hard work continues.
