I totally "get" your post. I haven't ventured over there yet. A little later maybe once I've taken all this in. It is truly a sad place--do you know, when the thread went up over here (FR) about the link between Saddam and the 9/11 Striker, I went over to see what their reactions were. Not even a mention--just polls about the goofiest things. Nothing of substance.

"The Iraqi nation is happy and the sound of gunfire indicates the Iraqi's people's joy and happiness. His arrest will put an end to military and terrorist attacks and the Iraqi nation will achieve stability. We want Saddam to get what he deserves. I believe he will be sentenced to hundreds of death sentences at a fair trial because he's responsible for all the massacres and crimes in Iraq."I wonder if Mark Geragos will represent him at the trial.

hellary gave the troops the motivation to find him with her visit recentlyThat must really upset the other DU'ers who are saying the Kurds captured Saddam, not U.S. troops.

I admit, I expected to see him in a similar condition to his sons--not alive. He's much more valuable alive. He's always been a coward--now I wonder how "smart" he really is.

Yes, what else will the TRAITOR RATS do now?
Maybe there is still a light in the tunnel for this country. Now, we MUST send the ILLEGALS home, NOT, NOT, NOT Amnesty!!!!

Yes, what else will the TRAITOR RATS do now? Well, they're now damanding more free handouts for teachers, more free medical handouts, more sharing of everyone elses pay checks, more free....etc.. The usual social parasidic stuff.
They say it's time for "all Americans" get back to what's really important. Them.
To: olinr
Ohhhh. The Democrats have it all figured out. We're busted. We're toast.
Bush was Jealous
He wanted his very own war criminal too. Coincidence I'm sure that Wes Clark flew to the Hague to testify against Milosivich this week. The capture of Saddam will take the focus off the trial and closed hearing ordered by the US. Any thoughts on this anyone?
ROTF! Snort.

They say it's time for "all Americans" get back to what's really important. Them. Sadly, you are right. From DU:
As I go to my chiropractor to get him to fix my broken back, broken from so much hard labor, I will hand him my entire paycheck because I have no insurance, and must forego groceries...but I will be smiling as I do it because that evil man Saddam has been captured! Whoopty-sh**!

Its True what OUR PRESIDENT said then if there are 15-30 groups in iraq GW did a brilliant job in getting the terrorist to go to iraq so as not to have them come to San Francisco or NY or Miami. GOOD JOB GW god bless you!

As I go to my chiropractor to get him to fix my broken back, broken from so much hard labor, I will... Riiiight. Flipping too many of those burgers. It's just wayyyy toooo hard!

I wonder if that "forego groceries" recipie tastes like chicken.
Anyhhow - DUmbDemocRATS are into eating nuts and fruit, and growing their own vegetables free from nazty pesticides. Tell him to go in his backyard and have a flower salad.

Interrogator to Saddam: "You will tell us everything you know about 9/11, WMD, and certain other topics on that sheet of paper in front of you, or we will turn you over to the Kurds whose families you gassed a few years back"

Now, Saddams capture is a trick to boost the evil stock market. Oh it likely will boost the market, but you know I am kind of glad that this is not what pushed it over 10,000. We did that all by our little selves. A saddam-captured bump is just gravy.
