As long as politicians can take a bribe, no matter how it may be disguised, campaign contribution, trade in kind, trips to Bermuda, prostitutes, etc. without facing life imprisonment, they will continue to take us as fools. The taxpayers and soldiers are only the suckers paying the bill in lifes and dollars.
