Duh... They live in Scotland, then and now. 600 years is the direct Parent - Child records by name/birthplace/marriage/deaths. It goes further but there are no records in our possession dated earlier than the 1400's. It ain't indignation as almost all assume, it is dated documents, church records and deed and family records contained in the library of the family castle near Newtonmore. Finished to near its current configuration around 1500, it has existed a working farming estate since about 1270. They hit the Virgina colonies about 1670. From there everything is documented in a private published book "25 Families of the South."
