Tribe turns hostile toward migrants

Will the US have this problem? Where the heck do you live?
Come to my city that was 3.4% minority in 1980 and now stands at 43%.

Three times now I have almost hit an illegal standing in the dark, like a fool, in the middle of the turn lane on the busiest six lane highway in town. The trash doesn't grasp the concept of traffic, pedestrian crossings, or go home.

They have over run our schools, bully our kids, swamp the human resources department and make hospital emergency room waits up to eight hours long and shopping after dark a risky experience. Given the amount of illegals standing in groups taking over parking lots, they are waiting for work that is not there.

EVERY other poll re: *anything* for illegals, shows Americans against it 70, 80 90%...even the CA polls.

Yeah, I've been watching... the 'yes' side has collected about 250 votes in the past hour while the 'nos' have gained only about 30.

Lou Dobbs has ran several 'illegal polls' lately.......all rated high AGAINST anything for illegals.

Maybe Ridge has his staffers 'voting overtime', so he has something to quote in his next news conference.......:o)

Come on FReepers, let's express our opinions. This poll is currently running slightly over 50% 'Yes' for amnesty for illegal (criminal) aliens.

There is also a lot of crime and danger because some of them rob and kill to get what they want.

And some of them are not looking for work, they don't want to work.

After living and working in southwest and far west Texas; I can tell you that we are inundated with illegal aliens to such an extent that our situation has gone past critical. Many times out on the pipelines you would get a glimpse or a unnerving sense you were not alone. We would many times be approached by someone looking for a handout. They had crude hand drawn maps and were using our facilities as landmarks. I also knew several pilots who fly the lines who from their advantage of height could trace overlays of foot trails that were not visible on the ground! Even today the area south of Crane,Texas at a place called Castle Gap, shows clearly wagon ruts cut into the landscape during the westward migration over the years. All kinds of artifacts can still be found uncovered after sandstorms. I have hunted Arrowheads all over the places along the Pecos River flood plain. Survival in this region is difficult and dangerous at best, so you must know where you are at all times and have a plan of action. The hills and plains of the LLano Estacado are essentially uninhabited. The remoteness affords plenty of cover for someone adept at living off the land.

Scarbough is hitting this issue hard today. Some guy who is opposing this amnesty really gave an earful to some immigration lawyer. Joe hammered this lawyer pretty good, too. At least cable news is covering this.

The area that they are talking about here was used for centuries as the overland "dry" route to California. If the early travelers had inaccurate maps or if the springs were dry, it was a certain horrible death. So many died that it became known as the Camino de la Muerte. Caravans were often too pressed to stop and bury the dead from previous disasters. Piles of bones became landmarks.

I just checked 54% (2515) NO Amnesty.......46% (2166) yes.

But these numbers are still way off...seems to me.
