Yes indeedy. PTSD is a terrible disorder. But I'm a little nervous about discussing it here, as when it has come up before, a bunch of bullies stomped in declaring it to be bogus, etc. I have PTSD and cannot tolerate anyone who says that it is not real. I had Lyme Disease a number of years ago, and plenty of doctors told me it doesn't exist, it's all in your mind, yadda yadda yadda. Now there's a "crisis" regarding Lyme Disease. Blech! I hate ignorant, intolerant people.

When I hear a loud noice or see a bright flash I don't expect, these people that say PTSD doesn't exist had better not be standing between me and cover. Most of these people probably never really had the pure dog s$%t scared out of them.

First I would like to say how sorry I am to hear about Chris. May he rest in peace and his family are in my prayers.

Second, I hope I never hear anyone say that PTSD doesn't exist. My 20-year-old daughter was in a hit and run accident where she ended up upside down halfway wrapped around a tree in her truck and she has been diagnosed with it. She lives with the after-effects of this wreck everyday.
