This should not be a taboo subject and it is certainly nothing to be ashamed of if one has ever suffered through it. Depression seeks to isolate you. The more it is dealt with openly the less it can do so.

yes, you are right.

I am gong to tonight check the profiles of everyone who has posted more than once. I think there will be a "trend " of sorts.

will report back my findings - in a year or two

You are consistently nailing the truth here. I have never studied depression, but I can relate to so much of what you say.

I can say that becoming involved with my local church in home group studies and activities has literally saved my life.
