I agree with you re: diet, exercise & sleep. Without these the problem is manifest.
When I did counseling I would NOT see the patient if they did NOT work out 3X a week. Hike, bike, something to get more oxygen & blood flowing. It opens your brain-waves & lets you really think & process issues.
Also there are some pre sleep exercises (mental,emotional) that you can do to "program" good dreams/though process.
Well, gotta run for a bit...dinner is cooking (burning?) .. we are eating the social hour (pacific time - but in EST zone)
I hope this thread will continue.. catharsis for us all possibly?

I'm very interested in lucid dreaming but I've never quite managed it. I have terrible nightmares sometimes. If, when you're done with dinner, or tomorrow, whenever, you would share some of the techniques with us, I know I, at least, would be interested.
So much depends on a good night's sleep!
