I still always have to marvel at how on 9/10/2001 all the nutters thought the Navy accidentally shot it down during an exercise and on 9/12/2001 all the nutters thought that it was shot down by terrorists, and the Navy thing hasn't been mentioned since.

I've always thought it was a terrorist missle that brought the plane down. But what bothers me is where is GWB on this? If he knew this was a terror act, wouldn't he want to use it to support the war on terror? Bush has never gone after Clinton the way I thought he should, but if it were terror, I hope he wouldn't keep the lid on this to protect the bent one's legacy. I have a hard time reaching any other conclusion than Bush doesn't know what happened or that the Navy shot down TWA800.

Whatever one thinks of the theories here there were suspicious statements made by Stephanopolous and others in the Clinton administration regarding this incident.
