LOS ANGELES (AP) - Rev. Jesse Jackson praised Democratic presidential candidate and Vermont Gov. Howard Dean Thursday, but refrained from endorsing any of the nine candidates running in the 2004 election. Jackson spoke at the monthly Urban Issues Breakfast Forum and addressed what blacks should expect from a presidential candidate. He called on the next president to provide social and economic opportunities for blacks.
