Let's see. I can vote for Bush and maybe get a second term of even higher Federal spending and more restrictions on my liberties, or I can withold my vote from Bush and get even more Federal spending and more restrictions on my liberties.

If I want a Democrat, I'll vote for a Democrat. What I won't vote for is someone who calls himself conservative and then governs like a liberal.

Nixon was far less conservative domestically than G W Bush, and his spending increases were as bad (not to mention wage/price controls, implementing AA, creating the EPA, etc.). And other than spending, Bush's father was more liberal on domestic policy. This doesnt exempt GWB from blame for particular areas where he's gone lib'rul on us, but let's have perspective that is historically based, not hysterically based.
Is that what the Dems say to their Black core voters?
