I think stores refer to Christmass enough. Holiday Season also refers to new years. If they are avoiding the term Christmass and sales are down they will get the message. I really don't care, the Christmass the stores celebrate is a pagan holiday anyway.

I say "Merry Christmas" and the vast majority of customers appreciate it. In fact, judging from some of the reactions, it is a very welcome surprise. (although the wife of the local ACLU attorney didn't appreciate it) I would rather acknowledge Jesus in some little way and make hundreds of people happy as well than be PC to please one person who would hate me regardless.
