We have to do our homework before we can trust or join anything anymore! Absolutely! Some of the most radical organizations in the country have the most innocent-sounding names like People for the American Way, American Civil Liberties Union, and many others whose activities are less well publicized. The Communist "front" organizations in the U.S. figured that out back in the 1920s.

Sadly, most organizations outgrow their altruistic motives when they expand. LWV has a reputation as being solidly for the left.
