On a positive side, They now realise who caused this problem. Does anyone there in Pennsylvania still believe that we need even higher taxes like Dean proposes? Well PA is not all Dem. .. but yes, many of the Dems are fleeing the big cities like Philly
They complain all the time about paying high taxes .. their problem is that some don't realize why they are so high.
This is where the grassroots and educating them comes in
I for one fled the city and now live on 40 acres in the country. My taxes, with a $200k home, total $142.00 dollars per annum. I have an 11 mile drive to work with very little traffic, the cars are spaced 1 to 2 miles apart, we can still live without fear and don't have to keep our doors locked around the clock.
I wouldn't trade this for all the gold in Fort Knox!
