As a unified force we can achieve the electoral extinction of the democrat party as a political force

Dream on. The same thing was said when Reagan utterly annihilated Mondale in '84 and Bush took care of Dukakis with ease in the following election, but looked what happened in '92. And the 2000 election was a 50-50 split. The Rats aren't going the way of the Dodo anytime soon.

It started with Reagan where the republicans started to think that they could not be identified as the "Rich" and party of the rich, even though the media still trumpets that charge through their dim talking points. When Clinton took office, the dims controlled over 30+ governships, most state houses, a super majority in congress and a bare minority in the senate. Here we are in 2003 where the Repbs control 28 governerships, most state houses, the party level identification is almost if not even with Dims, we have steadily our ranks especially since 9/11 and looking at contributions to Bush 2004, more regular people are contributing to the republicans than the democrats who are depending on the soroses of the world and hollywood to come to their aid.

No but look again and see how the democrat party is fading from majority status.

I did not say it will happen overnight or with one sweep of an election. However, the Zell Millers who are familiar with being a democrat are going to have to pass from this earth before the democrat party will erase itself.

We have to recruit the next generation. The 16 and 17 year olds who are going to become the lifelong republicans.

No the democrat party may be around for a long time, however there is nothing that should stop us from marginalizing them below the 5% matching fund status.
