Yeah Bush screwed up - But what the hell are we going to do, vote for Dean???

I will not be voting the Presidential line this coming election.

Bush might as well sign the Assault Weapons ban. He cannot lose my vote twice.

This decision is permanent and irrevokable.

4 million Evangelical "Conservatives" stayed home in the 2000 election and nearly helped elect President Gore - but that would have been much better than Bush because Gore didn't support CFR like Bush did - Oh Wait -....

That makes two of us, Laz. Actually a bit more than two but who knows how many more.

I think GWB is in potentially more re-election danger than a lot of people in these parts think. Even if those of us taking a pass on the presidential ballot next year are few, I think there will be a whole lot less enthusiasm from the base for voting for Bush.

Last time around there were zillions of so-called 'broken glass' voters who, just like me, could not wait for election day to vote for GWB and there was nothing that was going to stop us. I doubt that will be the case this time.

Meanwhile, despite a terrible, clearly phony guy running for the dems, a fellow not at all personally likeable by most, with not a whole lot of energized people backing him, it was a close election.

Next year, the dems will be energized as we were last time simply by their visceral dislike of Bush. They may have an energizing candidate who appeals to a lot of them. There may well be a bunch of "broken glass Democrats" this time and hardly any Republicans crawling over obstacles...and why should they with a President who expands government at a level not seen since LBJ?

Well, I suspect that a bunch of Freepers will be certain GWB will be a winner, and a big one, just as they were similarly convinced in 2000.

While I certainly don't relish a President Dean, Edwards, Kerry.....there is simply no way I can vote for GWB again. He is a major disappointment

Uhhh....if Hillary runs I take it back!

Choosing not to vote is still voting.

I think it would make a better statement to stand behind a third party candidate rather than skipping the Presidential line on the ballot.

How about we find a third party candidate that embraces sound conservative principles so we can show the Republican party how many votes they've alientated?
