It's not possible. Unless by "free speech" the Founders meant "free speech, except for within 60 days of a general election and 30 days of a primary election". You think that's what they meant?

Then what about limits placed on contributions to candidates? These laws have been on the books for years. Why don't these laws "limit free speech"?
