"Ummm...only if you don't go out and vote for him. The result today actually helps us out vis-a-vis the Democrats. Nevertheless, there was no reason to sign that law."

There is no reason for me to vote for Bush in 2004. I voted for Reagan in 1980 and Republicans ever since. I'm done with the Republican Party. When Dean gets in, remember that Dubya stabbed us in the back. By the way, who the hell is "us"? The Constitution got screwed today and you're rearanging the proverbial chairs on the deck of the Titanic. Have fun. I'm gone.

"I'm done with the Republican Party."

So what is your alternative? You joining DU and the Dems? Or just dropping out of politics?

Not trying to be a smarta$$, i just dont understand your end game.

To borrow your own screen name, "you've got to be kidding me." No reason to vote for Bush next year? How about keeping Howard Dean out of the White House? How about continued prosecution of the war on terror? How about control over judicial nominations (which I would think you'd care about since it was the court which approved the CFR)? The final straw for you is the approval of the Campaign Finance Reform law? You've got to be kidding me.

Hmmmm...let's do a quick tally sheet:

Are there issues where I disagree with the Bush administration? Of course. No two human beings on the planet agree 100% of the time. Am I disappointed by today's campaign finance ruling and the fact that the president signed that bill into law. You bet.

But on balance, this is a terrific president. And there isn't a Leftist/Dem out there who is fit to shine his shoes, in my opinion. "No reason to vote for Bush in '04?!" Anyone who genuinely counts themselves on the Right side of the political spectrum could not possibly look at this president's overall record and still say there is no reason to vote for him.
