Time Magazine, ABCDisney News, and countless other organizations have permitted themselves to be "kidnapped" in a sense so that they could meet with terrorists. They'd rather get a scoop and "journalist" awards than actually stop evil men. Their journalistic activism goes to advancing the liberal agenda (socialism).

Terrorists are independent operators and therefore there is no agenda gain for the journalists in taking them out.
